CMR insurance ensures that transported vehicles — new or used, damaged or broken — are insured and protected against damage during transport or handling.
Every vehicle we transport is covered by CMR carrier liability. We're happy to show you proof of insurance before loading.

How long does importing a car from abroad take?
From confirmation to handover it usually takes 5 to 14 days, depending on the country, the availability of the car and the seller's paperwork. On selected routes express transport is possible from 48 hours.
What is the total cost of an import?
The price consists of transport (see the calculator below), the purchase price of the car and official registration costs (in practice 350–600 €). You always get a written breakdown before anything is paid.
Do I have to travel abroad myself?
No. We handle communication with the seller, pick-up, transport and optionally the full registration. You take delivery of the car in Slovakia.
Do you inspect the car before purchase?
Yes. We check the VIN, history, mileage, accident records and technical condition. If something does not add up, we recommend walking away — that is cheaper than repairs later.
Which documents do I need for registration?
Purchase contract or invoice, the foreign registration certificate, COC or individual approval, certified translations, originality check, MOT and emissions test and proof of insurance. With the full-service option we arrange all of it.
How is the car insured during transport?
Every vehicle is covered by CMR carrier liability insurance. We are happy to show the certificate before loading.
Do you transport non-running or damaged vehicles?
Yes. We load with a winch or hydraulic arm; difficult loading carries a surcharge which the calculator includes.
Is VAT payable when importing from the EU?
When buying from a private person inside the EU you pay no additional VAT in Slovakia. When buying from a dealer or outside the EU, VAT and customs duty may apply — we tell you in advance.
How does payment work?
A deposit once the breakdown is confirmed, the balance on handover of the vehicle. Everything with an invoice and a written contract.
